The Uki Cafe occupies a commanding position in the pretty heritage village of Uki, at the base of Mount Warning.  With its huge shady verandah overlooking the village and the hills beyond, it is a gorgeous place to while away an afternoon with friends over a long lunch, or have breakfast to recover from climbing Mount Warning.  Also open during the evening, often with live music or other entertainment on the verandah, making it a great spot for all sorts of social events.

Originally the Trading Post for the area the Uki Cafe has held a prominent place in village life for decades and has been a cafe for more than twenty years.  Recently under new management, following the recent sale, expect new and exciting things to come…

A range of breakfast options are served all day along with gourmet, home made burgers, sandwiches and salads.  There are also homemade scones and cakes available for those with a sweeter tooth.

Great coffee is served using 100% organic beans from Bun Coffee in Byron Bay.  We also offer Chai options and a range of herbal teas as well as the classic black teas from the Madura Estate just 15km down the road.

A licenced venue, we offer locally brewed, handcrafted beers from Stone & Wood in Byron Bay and also Burleigh Brewery on the Gold Coast.  Whatever your taste in beer we can find a cold one to quench your thirst.  A carefully selected range of wine is also available along with a selection of spirits, soft drinks and juices.

The new owners want to make The Uki Cafe a live music venue to expect to see local musicians showcasing their talents at the weekends.  We are always looking for local talent, so drop in to see us with a CD if you are a musician.

Thursday night is Trivia Night.  Come along alone or with a team to test your wits against Uki’s finest minds.

Sponsors of the Ukitopia Festival, 15th – 17th November, The Uki Cafe will be one of the live music venues as well as hosting the after party on Saturday night

We have a large white wall perfect for displaying photography, painting and other artwork.  If you are a local artist and would like somewhere to display your work, please pop in with some examples of your work.
